I carried around a diaper bag for far too long. I loved how organized I could keep everything in it (all those compartments!) and kept using it well beyond the baby/toddler stage. Well, my youngest child is almost 5 years old now and last year I switched to a large handbag. I thought it would be handy cause I could keep things like an extra change of clothes and snacks for her in there. Lately I've been finding my large handbag has been a magnet for clutter more then anything. My daughter is old enough that I don't need to carry any kid stuff with me in my purse anymore (besides some wipes). Things like a change of clothes or snacks can be kept in the car or she can carry them with her own little backpack. I also wanted to switch to a cross-body bag cause I find it more practical. I found this great little black cross-body bag on sale at Aldo a few days ago.
So these are the contents of my newly organized, streamlined and minimalist everyday purse:
1. For my wallet I use the Fleurville Wristbag which I keep in my purse. I've been using it for several years and it's held up amazing well. I love that it's simple and that it's waterproof. If I put important papers, tickets, cards, etc in there I know they will be safe from accidental spills or leaks from water bottles or coffee.
2. Some fun pens
3. Kate Spade Gold Dots Notepad
4. Ricola Lemon Mint Cough Drops
5. Clean Well Sanitizing Wipes
6. Pocket Agenda 2014
7. Portable Tissue Holder
8. iPhone 4S with new case
